Growing up on the streets in Philadelphia was a unique experience in the 50's and 60's. It was a time music was transitioning from Do Wap to the Beatles to Elvis to Led Zepplin. The birth of Mowtown had hit the area in the sixties. JJ had started playing keyboards in local bands in the seventies and eighties. Being a part of the Philadelphia Boy's choir growing up, JJ new he wanted to make music a career. In 1978 he moved to the Tampa Bay area. In the late eighties JJ started working with a local karaoke/DJ host as a roadie learning the ropes. In 1993 Startime Karaoke was formed. The company grew to be what is now known as A-Spotlight Productions Mobile DJ Service offering the best as a full service entertainment company.
